Test Types

This is the section of Laby where you can specify which notebook(s)/results table(s) /validated documents will be automatically created/referenced upon the test creation within the project hierarchy. So everytime you create a test with this type, the documents will be linked directly.

The person in charge of the test analysis management can create, add, edit, delete, and inactivate a test analysis.

Attention

It can only be accessible by people who are superadmin of Laby, or admin of the module.

You can find the test type module inside the templates section:

Here is the home page, where you can see and manage all the test types that you have in the software. By default, the inactives are hidden. You can activate the filter to display all.

Creation

By clicking in the add button, on the top right of the browser, you can create by defining some information:

  • Name (is unique).

  • Active/inactive.

After creating a new test type you can precise which templates you would like to retrieve automatically when you create a new test, such as:

  • Results tables.

  • Notebook templates.

  • Quality documents.

Deletion

To delete a test type, select one and click on the red bin button in the top right.

Note

You cannot delete a test type used in an experiment.
