Introduction

This module allows you to add, consult, tag and comment a bibliographic document in Laby.

Add a bibliographic document

To add a file to Laby, you need to perform the following steps:

File selection

Select a file from your finder or file explorer. You can also drag and drop a document anywhere on this page:

Metadata

Additionally to the paper metadata, Laby store the PDF and the plain text. That will enhance your search power.

Check if the metadata are appropriated. Most of the time, Laby will have retrieved the DOI during the upload process. In some cases (old documents,  specific formatting, etc.), the DOI field may remain empty or be wrong. You can correct it or try to find the article by its title using the corresponding field.

(Optional) Add tags

To help find your documents on future searches, you can as much tags as needed. Can be also used to organize group of documents with the same tag.
