Introduction¶
The equipment module helps you manage both tangible and intangible equipment (software licenses, etc.). It’s grouped around the equipment browser. You can do a general search there and group items in a homogeneous way. The module aims to record all data linked to equipment and asset. It must include all data about them. This includes data about suppliers, tests they were used in, and maintenance records.
It will ensure optimization of usage, control, and data centralization. It provides support for several transversal functions, like:

Traceability.
Equipment(s) directly linked to the test(s).
CAPA: When an equipment is verified during maintenance and is no longer calibrated, you can trace experiments affected by potential negative effects.
Equipment management¶
Easy update of an equipment in a group. This is needed when a replacement or new component is added.
Listing of facilities by categories, families and groups.
Serial number, start-up date and output.
Maintenance tracking with alerts.
Location.
Reviews.
